Cabinet Painting

Cabinet Painting & Refinishing

Cabinet painting is one of the highest-ROI home improvements available — and one of the most technically demanding finish jobs. Vista Contractors uses a spray-applied, multi-step process with Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel to deliver a hard, smooth, factory-like finish that resists chips, yellowing, and fingerprints. The same process applies to bathroom vanities, built-ins, and laundry room cabinetry.

Why Vista Contractors

What Makes Our Work Different

Spray-Applied Finish
Brush and roller marks have no place on cabinets. We spray every door and face frame for glass-smooth results.
Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane
The hardest, most scrubbable cabinet paint available — chip-resistant and non-yellowing over time.
Full Degloss & Sanding
We sand all surfaces to bare or scuffed finish before priming — no shortcuts on adhesion.
Hardware & Hinge Management
We remove, label, and reinstall all hardware to factory spec.
Off-Site Door Finishing
Doors and drawer fronts are finished off-site in a controlled environment for the best spray finish possible.
Any Color in the SW Palette
White, navy, sage, charcoal — any Sherwin-Williams color, in any sheen.

5

FAQ

Common Questions

How long does cabinet painting take?
A standard kitchen takes 3–5 business days from start to reinstallation. We provide a detailed timeline at estimate.
Do I need to empty my cabinets?
We ask that you empty shelves and clear the counters. We handle the rest.
Can you paint laminate or thermofoil cabinets?
Yes, with the right prep process and bonding primers — we'll advise on suitability at your estimate.
How does it compare to new cabinets?
Cabinet painting typically costs 10–20% of replacement — and looks just as good when done right.
